L'origine dell'ignoranza | The origin of ignorance

By now we all know that there actually are people who believe that the Earth has something like 10.000 years and evolution never took place. This is one of my personal favourites. So, just to get you warmed up, here's one of the most serious sites that "Disprooves" evolution. I actually sent them a mail with some polite questions, hoping for an answer in a few days. I'm still waiting.
For those who are unfamiliar with the "theory", and are too lazy or too busy to browse the site, here's some of the major points of creationists:
- Evolution never happened. It is [sic] a lie of Satan.
- Man was created perfect from nithingness as narrated in the Bible, with th exception that it was 6 meters tall. Then, after the Great Flood, it shrank... I admit I don't actually got what this is all about.
- Fossils are not proof of anything. Some are bones from other animals, some are manfactured by scientists for pesonal glory, some were put there by God to test our faith [sic].
- Earth is 5.000-12-000 years old, depending on whom is telling the story.
- Dinosaurs coexisted with the biblical characters we all came to love, and disappeared in the Great Flood.
- There are tons of clues that evolution is a lie. For some of them, go check out the site.

Ormai si sa che ci sono persone che credono effettivamente che la Terra abbia una cosa come 10.000 anni e che l'evoluzione non si sia mai svolta. E' una delle mie "teorie" preferite. Quindi, per scaldarsi, vi presento uno dei siti più seri che "smentiscono" l'evoluzione. Gli ho anche mandato un'email con delle domande garbate, sperando che mi rispondano nel giro di pochi giorni. Sto aspettanto.
Per coloro che non conoscono la "teoria", e che sono troppo pigri o impegnati per andare sul sito, eccovi alcuni dei principali punti dei creazionisti:
- L'evoluzione non è mai avvenuta. E' una [sic] menzogna di Satana.
- L'Uomo è stato creato perfetto dal nulla, come narrato nella Bibbia, a parte il fatto che era alto circa 6 metri. Dopo il Diluvio Universale si è riistretto... devo ammettere che questa non l'ho capita tanto bene.
- I fossili non dimostrano niente. Alcuni sono solo ossa di altri animali, altri sono stati fabbricati dagli scienziati per avere fama, altri ancora sono stati messi lì da Dio per mettere alla prova la nostra fede [sic].
- La Terra ha 5.000-12.000 anni a seconda di chi ti spiega la faccenda.
- I dinosauri esistevano insieme ai personaggi della Bibbia che tutti amiamo, e si sono estinti nel Diluvio Universale.
- C'è una miriade di prove che l'evoluzione è una bugia. Per vederne alcune, guardate il sito.
